Reviving Baseball in Inner Cities (RBI)

Reviving Baseball in Inner Cities will be entering its 23rd year of play in 2012.  John Young, a former Major League Baseball player and scout, developed the concept of RBI to provide youths an opportunity to learn and enjoy the game of baseball.   RBI has grown from a local program for boys in South Central to an international campain encompassing more that 200 cities and as many as 200,000 male and female participants a year.  In 2010 Jr. RBI was launched, designed to create new divisions that provide baseball and softball opportunites for children.  This summer's RBI program will be a softball division for ages 9-12 years of age.  The Boys & Girls Club of Burbank and Greater East Valley is excited for the youth in our Burbank and Greater Valleys areas to have the opportunity to participate in such a great baseball progran that helps motivate kids to be active and develop their baseball/softball skills.  Also along with learning the value of teamwork, having fun, are just some of the positive results of the program.  For more infomation, contact Jay Jackson, Athletic Director by email jayjaxjackson@bgcburbank.org.

Thank You MLB and KPMG for helping our youth BE GREAT
